Quick Start

  1. Grant Permission: When launching the app for the first time, please grant photo library access permission
  2. Set Filter Conditions: Choose the date range and type of photos to organize
  3. Start Organizing: Quickly decide to keep or delete by swiping cards left or right
  4. Confirm Deletion: After the session ends, confirm the photos to be deleted

Q: Can deleted photos be recovered?

A: Yes. Deleted photos will first go to the "Recently Deleted" folder in iOS Photos, where they will be kept for 30 days. During this time, you can recover accidentally deleted photos at any time.

Q: Will the app upload my photos?

A: Absolutely not. PhotoTidy runs completely locally on your device and will not upload, transmit, or share any of your photos or personal information.

Q: Why is photo access permission needed?

A: The app needs access to your photo library to display and manage photos. You can choose to grant "Full Access" or "Selected Photos" permission. We recommend granting full access for the best experience.

Q: How to remove ads?

A: You can purchase the "Remove Ads" feature through in-app purchase. This is a one-time payment, and all ads will be permanently removed after purchase.

Q: Does the app support iCloud Photo Library?

A: Yes. If you have enabled iCloud Photo Library, the app can access all synced photos and videos. Please note that deleting photos will also delete them from iCloud.

Q: Will progress in organization sessions be saved?

A: Session progress is temporarily saved. If you exit midway, you can choose to continue the previous session or start a new session when you launch the app next time.

Q: Does it support iPad?

A: Currently, the app is mainly optimized for iPhone, but it can also run on iPad. We plan to provide better iPad support in future versions.

Q: How to change the app language?

A: The app will automatically follow your device's system language settings. Currently supports Chinese and English.
